What we do

Serviced locations & key markets
Groundwater Check mostly works on projects throughout Australia, predominantly in NSW. We have an in-depth understanding of NSW's groundwater policies and legislation. Groundwater Check services the following key markets:
-
Quarrying & mining
-
Water supply
-
Infrastructure
-
Water resource management
Groundwater impact assessment forms a significant part of our work.
Information on our services & capabilities is provided below.
Groundwater impact assessments
Groundwater Check has considerable experience preparing standalone groundwater impact assessment reports to support Environmental Impact Statements (EISs) for major projects.
Field testing
We have in-depth field experience, such as, but not limited to, drilling program design and supervision, pumping test supervision, slug testing, packer testing, monitoring well design and installation supervision, data logger management and groundwater quality sampling.
Groundwater models
We have analytical spreadsheet modelling, analytical element modelling and numerical modelling capabilities. We can create fit-for-purpose groundwater models to provide insight into potential system behaviour. Where possible, we create practical and simple models, without unnecessary complexity, to reduce costs, computational burden and project time frames.
Ongoing monitoring
Groundwater Check is able to design and conduct ongoing groundwater monitoring in order to achieve regulatory compliance. Similarly, we are adept in analysing monitoring data and preparing reports required for annual reviews of monitoring data.
We have programming capabilities and can automate laborious monitoring data processing and figure creation.
